About This Blog

Edmond and I, primping in front of the bathroom mirror in preparation for our wedding in July, 2003.

I’ve been on the web since 1997, and my first weblog, mydogmeg.net, ran nearly four years, from 2001 to 2004.

Since then–and even during the mydogmeg years–I’ve had several other blogs, but none of them have ever felt right to me, and I abandoned them.

One morning, as I was lying in the bathtub, thinking and drifting, as I am prone to doing while I wake up (I’ve always been a bath person, I need that buffer between bed and breakfast to face the day), I decided I was a bathtub dreamer, and that would be a good title for a new domain.

This blog isn’t about the web, or software usability, or being a geek; it’s not about music, or literature, or making things. But I will almost certainly touch on all of these things, because they interest me. And I can guarantee there will be photographs of Megabyte.

Mostly, though, this blog is about keeping in touch with you, because–as you probably already know–I suck at keeping up with email.

That said, if you want to email me, you can reach me at bathtubdreamer [at] gmail.com
